From mid-July to August , the glossy black berries ripen, impressing with their intensely aromatic flavor and high vitamin C content . The fruits are excellent for making jams, juices, compotes, or for eating fresh .
'Titania' prefers partially shaded locations and humus-rich, sandy soils that are consistently moist but well-drained. Regular watering is necessary in hot weather, but waterlogging should be avoided. This variety is considered winter-hardy, easy to care for, and very resistant to common plant diseases.
